Message 421 Temporary system problem

Message 421 Temporary system trouble

Howdy,

hmail server has been working fine for months. All of the sudden I get people reporting that messages with fastened documents are not going through and sometimes getting to thier destination after four-5 hours. This is no dubiety hmail on a retry finally being able to deliver the email. The mistake is equally follows:

This has been happening since terminal dark around 10pm. We utilize Google apps for business and there was a reported service suspension yesterday according to the dashboard. I have prepare me retires to 5 minute intervals from 60 minutes. I would just similar to be pointed in the right direction to figuring this out. i have seen other posts on this board that address the same mistake number just with the text "Temporary local trouble." Notwithstanding like I said this fix upwardly has been working corking for months and I have been very happy with information technology. Plain the server has a static address.

The business organization automobile is a multifunction device that uses i of our Google Apps accounts because the machine doesn't back up SSL inherently so it has to laissez passer through Hmail to connect to the account.

Whatever help appreciated.

421 is a temp fail meaning trying again later just like the response says. You'd need to contact the recipient to confirm if there is really a problem or not just it's their end responding to you and so only they can tell yous the real reason the message is existence delayed.

Thank you for the response. This was my first idea since this is listed every bit a response from the remote server which in this case is our Google apps smtp server. I would completely understand request them virtually thier ability recive mail wich I have and have not got an answer for as of yet. Withal, I become the same error sporadically when trying to send postal service to other people within my domain. This seems like a Google issue. They had bouts of unavailability yesterday and Postini services were unavailable for quite some time. That was yesterday morn though at 8am. I have a back up ticket in with Google and I wanted to make certain that it wasn't something broken on my end. Similar I said hMail has been running like nothing less and so a gnaw for me without issue ever since I ready it upwardly.

1 thing I do non accept ready is an SPF tape with My Google Apps Domain. I have not had to have this up to this point and this was what was recommended by Google support. Has anyone had to go through this stride before with SPF records and is it a setup stride that I completely missed?

You should not get a 421 sending locally unless you are relaying thru another server or possible real-time av installed giving the 421 response. But the log clearly shows a google server response and only google would know the reason. they could be rejecting you lot due to spf but their response really should say that although they are non required to.
